Hey there, I’m Chris I’d love to meet ya!
When I was a kid, my mom called me a joybringer. I grew up as the hero in an imaginary world of my own creation, just like Christopher Robin or Peter Pan. As an adult that creative spark is still there but repackaged to seem a bit more grown up. When I speak to groups, big or small, the fervor, joy, and transparency with which I share comes from this very spark.
Wherever you are, be all there. Live to the hilt every situation you believe to be the will of God.
I have a lot of questions about my life, to some I’ve found answers, to others I still question. I do know this: God made me to speak. And not just about anything, though I often joke that I could give a 90 minute presentation on ketchup. No, I am made to communicate one thing—God’s affection for mankind. It grieves me to know most people I encounter believe God is disappointed in them, at best, if not absent altogether.
Jesus said his followers would be known by their love. Unfortunately that’s not always true. As a kid, I vividly remember wondering why anyone would want to be a Christian unless it looked like it’s actually worth it. I am passionate about equipping Christians to be the most fun, generous and hospitable people in the neighborhood.
